The Library Prize for Undergraduate Research recognizes and honors excellence in undergraduate research at UCLA. Over $3,000 in prizes will be awarded to individual and group projects in the Sciences, Social Sciences, and Arts and Humanities. Projects ranging from freshman papers to senior theses will be honored.

The award ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 30, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the Powell Library Building on UCLA Library Awards Day. Reservations are requested by Friday, April 18, by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 310.206.8526.
Also part of UCLA Library Awards Day on April 30th, the Robert B. and Blanche Campbell Student Book Collection Competition rewards UCLA graduate and undergraduate students who have assembled outstanding book collections. More than $5000 in prizes will be offered in almost a dozen categories. The competition strives to honor book culture while embracing the digital age. Students who have assembled collections representing personal interests or are tied to their capstone, thesis, or creative projects are encouraged to submit entries.

Join former Campbell Competition judge Diana King, Arts Library, and collector extraordinaire Russell Johnson, Louise M. Darling Biomedical Library History and Special Collections for the Sciences, for their insights into presenting a winning entry and tips on how to build a focused and affordable collection.
