How Do Scholars Create and Share Knowledge?
A report by the Association of College and Research Libraries explores the gaps in understanding of the ways in which scholars create and share new knowledge. The report also presents a preliminary research agenda for creating greater understanding of the rapidly evolving system of scholarly communication and encourages academics, librarians, and other key partners to gather more data on practices that both enable and inhibit the production and communication of scholarship.
The report, entitled Establishing a Research Agenda for Scholarly Communication: A Call for Community Engagement, is available online for public comment.
