Coming up Bruin walk, have you noticed the barricades and people hanging onto them waiting to catch a glimpse of…heck, I don’t know? I noticed them last year, but didn’t report on it because, I am not a football follower. Not NFL football, but football or “soccer,” as we Yanks call it.
UCLA is providing the north soccer field for Real Madrid, one of the world’s premier “football,” clubs. Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaká , and Iker Casillas are just some of the “stars,” that on campus may not gather a lot of attention, but in their home countries, they are royalty!
