As of Monday (June 27, 2011), Westwood will begin issuing tickets to persons parking on the apron spots of Westwood city.
Apron parking is the action of taking the spot in front of a garage that leads out into the street. If a person parks there, the cars generally stick out into the street or block pedestrians from crossing on the sidewalks. These persons who choose to park this way will now be cited.
The ticket price? $58 dollars, and if the car receives more than five citations, it will be towed.
