UCLA Chorale and Chamber Singers: Bach Night

Friday, January 28
Two performances: 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Donald Neuen, along with graduate students Amber Kim and Helen Chon, will conduct members of the UCLA Chorale and Chamber Singers, accompanied by a small chamber orchestra, in a performance of two of the most well loved of the Johann Sebastian Bach cantatas: BWV 4, “Christ lag in Todesbanden” and BWV 80, “Ein fest Burg ist unser Gott.” Accompaniment will include trumpets, oboes, timpani, and continuo.

The rotunda is on the second floor of the Powell Library Building, which is directly across from Royce Hall. Parking is $10; the closest parking is in structures four, two, or five. See the UCLA maps and directions page for more information.

Admission to the concerts is free, and seating is unreserved.
