Biomedical Library Welcomes New Associate Director for Public Services!

On April 7, Tania Bardyn joins the Louise M. Darling Biomedical Library as the new Associate Director for Public Services.

Tania most recently held the position of Assistant Director of Affiliated Libraries for the Ehrman Medical Library of the New York University Health Sciences Libraries.  Prior to joining NYU, she worked for the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio’s Briscoe Library where she was the Access Services Coordinator from 2003 to 2004, the Access Services Librarian from 1998 – 2003, and Public Services Librarian from 1996 – 1998.  She holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. She is a member of the Medical Library Association and has been active in the American Library Association, the Association of College and Research Libraries, and the Library Administration and Management Association of ALA. She has been professionally active at the state and regional level in both Texas and New York. She is a member at the distinguished level of the Academy of Health Information Professionals of the Medical Library Association.
