New look for Web of Science: learn about it in person
As you begin your research in 2008, you may have noticed that three databases–Web of Science, Zoological Record, and BIOSIS Previews– look a little bit different. These databases have updated their interfaces and included new search tools which will assist you in locating relevant articles much more quickly.
To learn more, come to the Court of Sciences on Tuesday, January 8th between 11 A.M and 2 P.M when librarians from the Biomedical Library and the UCLA Science and Engineering Library will be demonstrating the new interface. Handouts will be available.
UCLA students, staff, and faculty can also pick up a crossword puzzle at the table, or download it from this blog (Web of Knowledge Crossword Puzzle). Complete the crossword puzzle and return it to the Biomedical Library reference desk or the Science and Engineering Library circulation or reference desks by January 15th, 2008, to be entered into a prize drawing!
